John is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Alt_ChiangMai. He has built multiple online communities across various social platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Clubhouse. He specialises in livestream content with over five thousand hours of streaming experience since 2016. John is also a bilingual (Cantonese and English) emcee in numerous online and offline events and shows over the years. With over nine years of hospitality experience, he has worked in organisations such has Langham, Hyatt and The Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels. He is currently opening a 27-bedroom coliving and co-working space in Chiang Mai, Thailand targeting a new generation of travellers. John graduated in University of California, Los Angeles with Bachelors of Science in Cognitive Science. His area of expertise includes social media content strategy, online community build-up, cross-cultural communication and hospitality operations. John knows Cantonese, English, Mandarin, Japanese and Thai. He is a father of two children.
