👩‍🎓 Are you part of the WhatsApp University Graduates?

This is a term coined by an Indian journalist named Ravish Kumar which pertains to the spread of fake news through WhatsApp forwards and was mentioned by this week’s #TheDigitalDiplomat special guest.

In this day and age where information is readily available at the tip of your fingers, how can you, leaders, and executives protect yourselves from false information and teach your people not to spread misinformation? Fake news in your organisation can undermine employees’ trust in your leadership and lower teams’ morale.

In the second episode of The Digital Diplomat with Tony Abad, Viral Jani, the EVP & Country Head of Times Bridge, shares his thoughts on tackling online misinformation.

He emphasizes that leaders have the responsibility to get their messages right, partner with the right “voices”, and choose the appropriate platform.
